I am a coach-counsellor, music educator, and seasoned parent with a deep interest in human stories and life experiences. My current work as a coach-counsellor is based on a person-centered approach which honors the strengths and needs of each individual. I help people understand themselves better, process emotions and experiences, and grow into new circumstances. This approach has been shaped by my training in coaching and counselling, but also through years of teaching, raising a family internationally, serving in community and church settings, and developing strong relational ties and communication skills across cultures and stages of life.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA in 2010 and later completed Suzuki Violin Teacher Book 1 Certification in 2017. As a violinist and teacher, I developed patience, attentiveness, creativity, and the ability to guide people with encouragement and structure. But after years of teaching and performing, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a trained and certified counselor, and completed two diplomas through the Academie voor Coaching en Counselling in Amstelveen, with a dual specialization in trauma and well-being. Although I currently only offer coaching in English, I am also continuing Dutch language studies and am currently at a B1 level of proficiency.

I have lived in five different countries during my adult life and currently live in the Netherlands. Living internationally has strengthened my ability to relate well with people from many different backgrounds who hold a variety of beliefs and values, while maintaining respect and curiosity. I am motivated by a desire to help people grow in self-awareness, strengthen relationships, thrive in change and challenges, and build meaningful lives.

It is important to me to give my clients my full focus and attention, and to create a coaching environment characterized by a balance between structure and fluidity, openness, creativity, and encouragement. Through our work together, my hope is that my clients will experience greater clarity, confidence, and well-being. I am interested and curious to hear your story.
